Join YCP for #GivingTuesday on Tuesday December 1st
What is GivingTuesday?
Please join us in raising awareness and funding for the Young Carer’s Program (YCP).
Young carers are kids under the age of 18, who are in a caregiving role for a parent, grandparent, sibling or relative with a chronic or life threatening illness. YCP aims to provide therapeutic programing to help kids with adult responsibilities cope and interact with other kids who know exactly what they are going through.
Samiha is only 15 and cares for her mother with ALS.

We want to give kids like Samiha the support they need, so they can support their loved ones.
#GivingTuesday is part of National Giving Day in Canada, which takes place every year after Cyber Monday, where we Canadians can all join together to rally for our favourite causes. We are trying to raise $5,000 to help provide therapeutic based programing to 120+ kids in Toronto over the next year. Your money will go towards supplies for workshops and events for kids like Samiha. |
Share Samiha’s story or share a photo of someone you love and care about on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, using the hashtags #givingtuesday #give2ycp.
Help kids be kids by giving what you can: $5, $10, or $25 or donate your time using the donation or volunteer buttons below.
Together, we can provide an instrumental program to some pretty amazing kids.
