LATEST NEWS...This spring/summer our young carers were busy at Camp Zagehdowin, visiting the Island, building leadership skills and coming together with other young carer families to celebrate all the amazing things young carers and their families do! We have also been busy getting ready to go back to school, and cheering on the Blue Jays! Congratulations to YCP volunteer Gregg, who received the first YCP Kudos (Kaught U Doing Outstanding Stuff) Volunteer Award for consistently exemplifying and representing the mission of the Young Carers Program! We give a big Kudos to Gregg and all of our wonderful volunteers who enable programs to happen! This summer we said goodbye to our Manger of Programs, Natalie Wilson. Natalie has been with the YCP since 2010 and her contributions to the program have been instrumental in making YCP what it is today. We are sad to see Natalie leave, and we wish her well in her future endeavours. Thank you for all that you did for YCP, we will miss you! We want to thank Ashley, our summer student for all of her hard work this summer! She will be truly missed by the staff and YCP members and we wish her all the best in her future!
