We're looking for individuals who have a passion for working with children, and who are interested in helping out with running social and recreational activities. We value our volunteers' commitment and experience, and their desire to make a positive difference in the lives of children and their families.
Requirements:
Minimum 20 years of age
Completed application and interview
Up-to-date police clearance for working with vulnerable persons (we can assist with requesting this on your behalf. Please note it takes 8-10 weeks to process)
Minimum commitment of 6 months after clearance is received
HELPING WITH OUTREACH
Volunteers can take on an advisor role and assist with our Youth Champions Committee by providing leadership and guidance to committee members
Volunteers can help raise awareness of the program in their own communities and the Toronto area
Volunteers can assist with social media
We're looking for individuals who have a passion for networking, have great communication skills and know how to ignite interest in others. We value our volunteers' time and their desire to increase the visibility of Young Carers and the unique challenges they face.
